Week One :)

Hey Everyone!
So, Wednesday night was my first opportunity with the youth and I LOVED it!!! We had a blast :) I got to help out with the High School girls discipleship group. We had about 8 to 10 girls there and we spent our first night just getting to know one another. The activity for the night was to cut out pictures from magazines and create ourselves as super heros. (I must say I made a pretty good super hero if I had to say so myself!) The one girl I felt I got to connect with the most was this girl named Marissa. Keep her in your prayers because she's a foster child and she just moved here and was a little hesitant on whether or not she'd like this new group. However; I think she had a good time so I'm hoping to see her again! By the end of the night we asked the girls to write down suggestions on things they'd like to discuss in class and I can honestly tell you that it was a unanimous vote to talk about boys, so that will be interesting. I had a lot of fun my first night, it was great getting to know everyone and I can't wait to see them all again next week!
